The LRC follows Open Access System. Books are arranged in three Classes: The General Collection, Reference Collection and Preserved Collection
General Collection refers to the main body of the library's holdings that are available for general use by patrons. This collection typically includes a wide range of materials such as books, periodicals, and other resources that cover various subjects and genres. The materials in the General Collection are usually organized systematically, to facilitate easy access and retrieval by library users.
Our reference collection is very rich with Dictionaries, Encyclopaedias, Handbooks, Theses, Dissertations, Project Reports, and various Classics in the management domain.
The LRC subscribes to periodicals as print. They have displayed in the library. The latest issues are displayed in the magazine display and its back issues available in the corresponding drawers within. These loose issues will be cleared from the display for binding as soon as the volume is complete.
The LRC receives 3 English newspapers. They are displayed in the reading corner near circulation Counter. The Hindu, The Business Line and The Times of India
Bound volumes of periodicals are arranged in the separate rack.
