JIM expects its students to be in campus placement. Prioritizing this focus, students are programmed to develop their personal growth and interpersonal effectiveness. This pre-placement training programme starts in the second year of MBA by competent professionals from outside to impart the placement knowledge, skill and attitude. Students are trained in qualitative aptitude, logical reasoning, finance skills, managerial skills, grooming, and data analysis cum interpretation. Students develop their soft skills through communication, discussion, and presentation. The training co-coordinator creates nuclear groups at the sessions for effective growth so that they gain all the placement trainings.
